About Sofia
Sofia Reyes grew up surrounded by cats — a household of four at any given time, each one, she now realizes, a case study in feline individuality. What seemed like an ordinary childhood passion gradually revealed itself as a lifelong vocation. After completing her undergraduate studies in biology in Argentina, she pursued advanced training in animal behavior and earned her certification as a Feline Behavior Consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) — one of the most rigorous credentialing bodies in the field.
Over nine years of clinical practice, Sofia has worked with cats presenting everything from chronic aggression and compulsive disorders to stress-induced illness and social anxiety. Her work sits at the intersection of behavioral medicine, environmental modification, and psychological profiling — she is interested not just in what a cat does, but in the underlying personality architecture that drives their behavior, and how that architecture can be understood, supported, and sometimes transformed.
